Id researched weight loss surgery for sometime but just hadn't made the jump. Finally when the cash became available I decided to get it done. So Glad I did. I am a semi truck driver so on the road all the time. Eating right is hard to do on the road. My weight was 344 lbs when I decided to go for it and have the surgery. Id watched a lot of you tube videos which gave me a great deal of info and decided to get the gastric sleeve surgery. Working with weight loss agents was a great experience. Things were easy to get done and talking with a person was no problem at all. Everything went just as expected. Flew into San Diego, was picked up and being a truck driver I had been in the area before, just never crossed the border into Mexico. Met with the Dr. and went to the hotel. The next morning arrived at the hospital. Had the surgery and remember when I woke thinking wow, cant believe I just had surgery as I wasn't hurting. I walked the halls many times, stayed the night at the hospital then off to the hotel the next day. Walked the tourist areas the next day and kept active the entire trip. Now, 3 months later I have gone from 344 down to 263 lbs. I have lost more then 80 lbs. Its a great feeling to keep loosing the weight and im not suffering in the process. Im eating normal food and drinks. Just way less then I used too. I can still get hungry but I don't get starving like I used too. I eat a little and im full. Some food I used to eat all the time like hamburgers, steak and ice cream I dont have a craving for anymore. Iv had a little ice cream and its been no big deal. Iv got from 4x and am starting to get into 2x clothing which is great. Every time I see someone I haven't seen in a while they are amazed to see my weight loss. So far over 80 lbs gone and I cant wait to see what I look like further down the road.
