Having had a few family members who have had this procedure made it easier for me to trust what I was researching on the subject of gastric sleeves. My cousin and I flew into San Diego together for our Gastric Sleeve Surgeries. Dr Almanza's van picked us up and took us to the HMN hospital in TJ where we had our pre op done and were ok'd for surgery. It's at this time if you are bringing cash that you will settle your amount owing. They took us to the hotel so we could get settled in and have a great nights sleep before surgery the next morning. We were first in the morning so we didn't have long to wait. The rest of that day is spent sleeping btwn walking when awake to keep the gas moving. I can't say I ft pain at all. The care in the hospital was great although a little different from what we are used to. The next morning they loaded us up and settled us back into the hotel. There was 24hr nursing staff there and they are very personable. I never once felt uncared for. Gas x strips and walking will be your best strategies by far. We made arrangements for one of the cans to take us down Revolution Road to do some souvenir shopping the next day. Great outing and the van stayed with us the whole time. I would high recommend to anyone sitting on the fence. Our results were great and still feeling good. Hw286 SW 272
