I'm feeling very good. I've lost 40lbs from date of surgery, Feb 9,2016. 52 lbs from the start of this journey, including time of fluid diet. I'm losing inches, clothes are getting big, but I know i'm still at the beginning of my weight loss journey. No problems from the surgery. My A1C went down to normal 1 month after surgery. I am not on ANY diabetic meds! Love that, I was on 3 meds and insulin, now nothing and I'm fine! Dr. Almanza is amazing. I still sometimes eat a couple of spoonfuls too much, and yes, I vomit, but I'm getting better at judging. My highest weight ever was 300 lbs, as of 5 days ago, I am 242 lba. I think that is amazing. I feel better, I can walk further than I could before. I walk my pup at a fast brisk walk when it isn't raining, and I couldn't do that before, I can make him run, he needs to lose weight too, haha.
Thank you Dr. Almanza and staff!
