I looked for weeks for something bad (as you do) and found nothing so i paid my deposit and booked my travel.
Now I know why I couldn't find anything bad that's because it was a great experience I not only had a very comfortable time (ok you do need to take the barium and stuff but hey small price to pay).
I flew to SanDiego stayed for a few days then was picked up at the airport with a group of other people we were all excited about the day. The drive to Mexico took about half an hour but didn't notice it really border checks were quick and easy (both ways) I was amused on arrival that the clinic is in a small group of shops (I had read this before though) however walking through the doors everything changed and its clean and welcoming and the staff are second to non friendly and helpful. We had a blood test and completed the forms with a nurse the spent a short time we a cardiologist then waited for the surgery. All i remember is laying on the table and then waking up within 10 minutes i was walking around with very little discomfort. We were taken to the recovery house which is very comfortable and staffed with nurses.where all your needs are catered for (I would just recommend sleeping as much as possible it helped me) Please make sure you take rennie or gaviscon because if found the wind is the most painful thing you go through.
Since the operation I've lost 63 pounds and I have not even made an effort I can eat anything I like just much less of it. I didn't want to lose too fast so my skin has a chance to keep up with the loss
So all i can say is GO FOR IT it's amazing my life has changed and its for ever win win really and i got a great holiday to ;)
I will add a photo when i get time
