I arrived in San Diego on Sunday 02/22/2015 a day before my surgery, my plane was early so I figured I would just hang outside the airport until my ride came. To my surprise the driver picked me up early, even though we had to wait for another patient my driver Nester kept me entertained. By the time we picked up the other patient Nester was no longer just the driver to me I felt I had made a new friend. My procedure took place on 02/23/2015, the pain wasnt much at all but as the day went along I realized I was bleeding too much into my drain...I was very scared! Tuesday morning I was taken back into surgery, the lining on the wall of my stomack was bleeding and had to be cauterized......I remember telling the doctor to please fix me just before they put me on the surgery table the second time and praying to God that I would pull through.......Well all went well and my new friend Nester even popped in to see that I was okay.....by thursday I was back on the plane on my way home to Canada....I am just over a week post-op and I am feeling great......I would recommend Dr.Almanza to anyone, him and his staff were great....Thank you for saving my life!!
