I had Surgery on Friday Night, I had a re-sleeve and was the last patient to have Surgery done that day because I had a re-sleeve and with the re-sleeve you have scar tissue, etc. I was up and walking within 2 hours. I really felt good on Saturday. The hotel was nice, the nurses were excellent. If you needed anything, you could call and they were right there. On Sunday I felt very good and was able to go out and go to the local market for an 1 hr. walk around the hotel, etc. Monday we had a 5:45 departure from the hotel to the airport. This process can take some time getting over the boarder however, it took us about 1 1/2 hours to get across. We had a 2 1/2 hr. drive after landing. I was a-little concerned with driving however, I really had no trouble at all. On Tuesday I worked at my office for 7 hours and felt fine. All in All, I would do it again in a hear beat. Keep in mind that Mexico is Mexico and things are not what you are used to in the U.S. Everything was clean, sanitary, and I felt very safe.
Dr. Mario Almanza does about 15 surgeries a day and is an excellent Dr.
