The unexpected! You know I would never have thought that one of the hardest things about this surgery would have nothing to do with the surgery yes for me its the truth. I have actually lost friends because of this, I have changed and have become a completely different person. I no longer go out to restaurants to eat because I don't feel like wasting money on a meal that I most diffidently won't/ cant finish. I have found that staying hydrated is actually a challenge and working outside for anything more then a half hour is next to imposable this would include sports. I have also noticed that foods that I loved i.e. Pizza no longer taste the same and milk my all-time fav. drink has become an enemy, yes I can drink it that's not the problem no the problem is know it gives me a cotton mouth feeling and I probably don't need to tell you how annoying that is. Another problem is family I don't know about you but my family loves to Eat and they don't know how to control the amount they eat so when your sitting there eating and you serve yourself there is always that comment that's all your going to eat, why are you starving yourself, or my all-time fav. is when they don't want to serve yourself and they bring you a plate filled to the brim and expect you to finish it because that's what you use to be able to eat, and the dirty looks you get when you cant even eat one tenth of it. There is one more thing I didn't expect all that money I am saving by not eating out like I once did is know going to vitamins, protein shakes because with out these you most diffidently will continue to loose weight and become sick, because to be totally honest I am actually almost never hungry anymore and eat because I know I must.
