Hi all...I had my sleeve done on march 16th with Dr Almanza and his staff. They were all wonderful. The staff at hotel was also very nice they did take a while to get to you when you neded something but they had a lot of patients, 12 just from my day of surgery.Which 10 i have stayed in contact with and are also very happy with Dr Almanza and his staff. The surgey itself was easy for me.I never had any pain or gas pain.I am extremely happy with my decision to have the sleeve and would do it again in a heart beat. Now there are hard days..some very bad days...but the weight loss, confidence and over all sucess you feel because FINALLY your losing weight is so gratifying that its completely worth the tough days..and as time goes on the bad days are fewer and fewer.I set a goal from the day i booked my surgery. To get down to 150.I am 6 months and 1 day post op and i am at 154.. I weighed 230 day of pre op And i am 5feet 4inches.Thats a 76lb loss in 6 months. Its been 12 years since i was this small. And i will still loose more.Trust me it can happen for you too.If you have any questions about ANYTHING, the Dr, staff, hotel, surgery, aftercare, food ideas,or anything in between feel free to contact me.This besides marrying my husband and having my amazing kids was THE BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE!!!!! I chose the right surgery, Dr and time in my life.
