Hi MY name is Diana I had surgery on Aug 6th 2018. I started the Pre op diet July 5th. I flew in to San Diego where my guest and I were picked up. We were then taken to our motel and welcomed many employees carried our luggage to the room. I had to call the front desk who then called the Nurse to find out what time I needed to be ready for the van to take me to the hosp. the next morning.
When arriving at the Hospital I was pleasantly surprised by how inviting and clean it was. The Dr. came and talked to us as a group. then the Rn took me to a room and got dressed the cardiologist ran a test and the RN started the IV. I then was taken to my room where I waited for about 1/2 hour and was taken to the OR. the OR team was very nice and helpful answered questions and then I was out.
This was the fastest surgery I have woken up from and I did not need O2. I was tired but I still woke up easy. with minimal pain.
I was taken back to my room and there I slept most of the day and night. I had acid reflux which the nurses helped with. then next day I was moved to the 3rd floor which was like a motel room. I started hurting as did some others about 3 pm we asked for pain medication which was given to us. but our IV bags came at 7pm and 7am. they had pain med, previcid, and a muscle spasm medication. we had drains from one of our incisions that was taken out the 3rd day. before they took us back to motel. they scanned us to make sure we had no leaks. I really think our care was great.
Alex the Nurse is a smart girl she was there every day from start to finish with us. she would explain things to us and give us good tips for care.
After being taken back to the motel I spent one more night there. then the Driver took us back across the boarder and to the Airport for our flight home.
The Weightlosagents company is a very helpful company and they are the best. they follow up after you are home. I would recommend this to any of my family or friends.
