Hello, I went to Dr. Almanza to have the gastric sleeve. I had no idea how much this would change my life. I was so scared of everything. But I am here to tell you that I had the best experiance one could ever imagine. When I first arrived to San Diago, I waited for a van to come pick us up. While on the bus I met most of the ladies that had the surgery the same day as I did. We formed a bond right away. The van arrived and carried us over the border to Dr. Almanza. We went to his office first for our pre-op. When we arrived we were treated like royalty. The place was very clean, the people were very friendly and spoke english. Then we were taken to the hotel. At the hotel, most of the people there were there for the surgery. They had medical staff there and all the hotel staff were courteous. The next morning the picked us up early and transported us to the hospital to have our surgeries. The staff at the hospital explained everything they done and answered any questions. Each of us had our surgery, then stayed one night at the hospital. Then we were taken back to the hotal where they had hospital staff come to out rooms when we needed anything. The whole experience was wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. And the results speak for themselves. I have lost 80 lbs in 6 months. I went from a size 20 to a size 12. I am very happy and I would advise anyone to share this amazing journey with me.
