I was nervous but excited to have the gastric sleeve surgery. It has been a very personal journey for me. I have been overweight for the past 15 years and I knew I needed to do something different. I have two sisters who did the gastric sleeve surgery and had good results, so I decided to have it as well. It has been five weeks today since my surgery on 3/5/21, and I am so very pleased with my progress. I have lost 21 pounds since the surgery and a total of 34 pounds since I started this journey. I have already went down two dress sizes and one pants size! I still have a ways to go, but I am getting there. I am starting to look and feel like the person that I was before I gained so much weight. This has been one of the best decisions I have made for me and my health. I recommend it to anyone who has tried for years to loose weight and the constant up and down battle it was for me. The staff were all very professional and helpful.
