All my life i have delt with others and always putting myself last. Really not even last i had forgotten that i even existed. Some girls i knew had had the gastric sleeve done, and i just wished i could too, but was to afraid, besides it cost to much.. So after running into one after her 4 years of having it done she looked great and had kept all her weight off. So i started checking into it and went to a seminar to learn more. The Dr. in the U.S. was so high priced and couldn't do anything till 2013, plus he hadn't done to many surgerys.. I came home and started looking at web sites and u tube videos and found that i could go to mexico and the price was much cheaper and Dr. Almanza had preformed alot of surgerys. I finley decided to tell my husband i haven't asked for a Christmas present for over 10 years but, this year i'm gonna ask..At first like most people he thought i was crazy, then i started to share stories and videos and pictures with him and he got ok with it.. Then i threw in Mexico and again i was back to crazy.. I searched more about Mexico and how close to the border it was and all was good. So i got my Christmas early, November 28th 2012 i got my gastric sleeve with my favorite doctor. Dr. Almanza in Tijuana Mexico...Everyone their was so nice and so professional i loved every minute of it. If i could do it again i'd go back in a second and do it again... I loved the whole experience of it.. and my husband did too, He's got diabetes and when we got to the surgery center the first thing they did because he hadn't eaten and it was like 7:00 pm they took him behind a curtain where there was a buffet set up and feed him. Everything was so perfect for us we are going back there to Mexico for a vacation. Don't let the media scare you away there is nothing bad going on their, just good, I felt better protected in Mexico then i do here in the U.S. Dr. Almanza and his staff are number 1 in my books and i think he will be in yours too. Take the plunge and do something for yourself i promise you won't regret it, like everyone says wish i had done this years ago..
