I cannot say enough about the WeightLossAgents, Jerusalem Hospital, and Dr. Almanza. Every step was handled in a professional and prompt manner. You are kept informed at all times, even up to the hour. Dr. Almanza performed 3 surgeries on me. He removed my lap band, took out my gallbladder, and performed the Vertical Gastric Sleeve, all at the same time. I had a General anesthesia and not just I.V. sedation like most people. I was in surgery 4 hours. I walked off the operating room table to the recovery room. I never had any nausea or vomiting. I immediately was able to start drinking fluids and eating Popsicles. I only had one Toradol pain shot and that was immediately before they removed 2 of my drains and I.V. The hospital staff are very neat and clean and very skilled. I had the best care that I have ever had in my life. I am a Bariatric Registered Nurse (RN) and if there was anything out of the ordinary, I would have been the first to notice. The facility is cleaner than our U.S. hospitals and the staff of about 15 people are constantly cleaning, mopping, organizing, escorting, and waiting on patients. The only thing that I have had is that my abdomen is "sore". Would I do it again? "YES, OVER AND OVER". You can't go wrong with Dr. Almanza and his staff !!!!
